RGSD will participate in the City of Riverview’s Annual Parade on Saturday, Sept. 21. RGSD will share care packages, information and treats with the community to say thank you for supporting the scholars of RGSD. The RGHS marching band will also perform.
The Parade will start 2:00 p.m. at the City of Riverview City Hall (9699 Lilac Dr) and conclude at the park on Diamond/Northridge to celebrate the BBQ Bonfire Fall Festival from 3 pm to 7 pm.
RGSD also participated in the Moline Acres Awareness Day Parade on Saturday, September 7. The parade began at 11:oo a.m. at Central Middle School and traveled to Bellefontaine West Park.
Families lined the streets as the school district, area elected officials and community leaders and community partners joined in the fun. The festival featured entertainment for all ages, a carnival for the children as well as fun for the entire family.
