The Riverview Gardens School District is welcoming families to enroll their children in the Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center for the 2025-2026 school year. The free program is available for children ages 3 to 5 years old, provided they are fully toilet trained.
Open enrollment will take place in person on the following dates and times:
April 23: 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
April 24-25: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
April 28-29: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring their children for a screening during the enrollment process. Walk-ins are welcome.
To complete enrollment, parents or guardians must provide the following documents:
Proof of residency (two current utility bills and a current lease, deed of trust, or occupancy permit)
Child’s original birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics
Child’s original Social Security card
Photo identification of the parent or guardian
Current immunization record and physical examination report
Allergy, asthma, or seizure action plan if applicable
For those interested in before or aftercare services, a work schedule on the employer’s letterhead is required.
