The men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Epsilon Lambda Chapter, put the community in “community service” at Westview Middle School with Project Alpha on Dec. 7.
Project Alpha is a part of Alpha Phi Alpha's national community service project. The event featured workshops and activities for children ages 5-18 to help them learn, grow and discover inspiration. Participants were also provided with breakfast and lunch.
The fraternity members facilitated discussions, held informational workshops and coordinated physical activities. The workshops included topics such as: character chess, physical fitness, social media etiquette, internet safety, peer pressure and more.
